Tonight at First Friday Main Line is the inaugural Foodapalooza: A Culinary Competition. What a delicious way to end the week!
Chefs from local restaurants will offer samples of some of their most popular dishes and compete for Best Appetizer in a competition that will rival any seen on TV. Though amateurs will not be cooking (the Pepto can stay in the medicine cabinet), they're more than welcome to come and taste. You might want to wear something with an elastic waistband.
The event takes place from 5:30-8:00 tonight at the Haverford Estates. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance on the First Friday Main Line website. You can also purchase them at the door for five dollars more. All proceeds from the event go to charity so you can feel good about pigging out.
