Workers at the Friendly's Restaurant in Frazer, Pa. are doing something special on Friday the 13th to help one of their own.
100 percent of all the tips earned by Friendly's servers on February 13 will go to help one of their own who is sick in the hospital.
Donna, a 34-year-employee of the Friendly's, has been in intensive care after suffering a pulmonary aneurysm in January. Her coworkers wanted to do something special to help her with health costs.
The Friendly's Corporation has also stepped up to the plate and will match the entire contribution of the employees -- doubling the total going to help Donna.
You can help -- just get out to the Friendly's located at 43 Lancaster Pike in Frazer at any point Friday. And, be sure to leave a big tip knowing that it's going to help a long-time employee.
Don't worry if you can't make it on Friday. Donations will be collected throughout the weekend and beyond.
