For one night only, Rittenhouse gastropub Pub & Kitchen and Vine Street Imports have joined forces to compose a five-course dinner menu with wine pairings for $55. The thought alone redeems the sheer misery that is a Monday.
The foodie-friendly prix-fixe includes a seared scallop with parsnip puree and blood orange butter, veal sweetbreads with truffles and a double-cut rack of lamb along with both a cheese and dessert course (hazelnut-chocolate soufflé, yum!) to round out the meal. Both red and white wines will be served.
The restaurant isn't accepting reservations for the event so be sure to come early and/or ready for a wait. No doubt the restaurant will be packed with others who appreciate such a rare, and delicious, bargain.
