Bulldog Blog: A Taste of Lower Merion

High school blogger Brady McHale brings the inside story from Lower Merion High School.

The junior class at Lower Merion invites you and your family to stop by this weekend as they continue the tradition of the “Taste to Lower Merion.”

Taste of LM is simply a collaboration of Main Line restaurants all in one room cooking their signature dishes all to raise money for the class. The student run fundraiser also features a silent auction.

This year more than 30 restaurants will take part in the fun. Places like Primo Hoagies, and one of my favorites, Bertucci’s, will be serving up snacks.

But, Sunday’s event is not all about the food -- OK, the grub has a lot to do with it but the silent auction is where the big bucks could happen. One of the big draws in the auction is a 2003 Acura TL courtesy of Infiniti of Ardmore who is sponsoring the event. Need a new set of wheels? Starting price $9,500.

And, there will be live music at the event until 8 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. The class of 2011 looks forward to seeing you there.

And, as always fell free to email me with questions or comments.
