This weekend, Philly's top chefs answer the age old question: Who makes the best cheesesteak?
On Sunday, October 17 Square 1682 hosts the first Cheesesteak Challenge: The Steaks Are High block party from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Bring your friends down to Sansom Street to see local chefs compete in creating their own rendition of the classic cheesesteak.
Tony Luke will judge the event along with other local experts.
Sample the chef creations and grab a few beers from Victory Brewing Company who will be on-hand supplying the booze for the event.
The $20 ticket will benefit Philadelphia Academics helping to support Philadelphia public schools.
