That Guy: Rob Saunders

This week's That Guy Profile is Rob Saunders.

This week's profile is Rob Saunders from Conshohocken, PA. Philly fashion guru Sabir Peele tell's us why Rob is this week's " That Guy."

What I like about this look?

Rob's ability to layer this look without looking bulky is commendable. The fact that he was able put a look together that is essentially one color with subtle hints of brown, plaid and grey are not to be overlooked. Typically, a double or single breasted Peacoat is the go-to winter outerwear staple for guys and Rob switches it up with a shadow-plaid toggle button coat. Take a look at Rob's footwear. Traditionally, boat shoes are designated for the spring and summer months; however, since Rob went with a rugged, deep brown leather shoe and a pair of wool socks this look is winter appropriate.

Where could this outfit be worn?

This look is perfect for any guy that plans to be outside during these blustery, cold months running errands, catching up with friends or headed to grab some coffee.

Where can you buy this particular look?

Brands like J.Crew and Scotch & Soda have some of the most versatile toggle button coats on the market. Boats shoes have been huge in menswear for the past 4 years with brands like Sperry Top-Sider and Sebago staking their claim as the top two makers. A great pair of dark rinse or selvedge can be dressed-up or down in just about any way imaginable. Brands like Levi's, A.P.C and Onassis Clothing have a wide variety of jeans that will suit your needs and specific dark wash styles.

Style tip?

In keeping with the neutral tones, I would switch out his navy shawl collar sweater for a brown or maroon version to break up the navy blue in the outfit. The fit of all these pieces are appropriate for his body type and he looks very comfortable and warm. This goes to show you that, staying warm doesn't mean sacrificing great style and proper fit.
