That Guy: Mike Shaffer

This week's That Guy is Mike Shaffer.

This week's Profile is Mike Shaffer of Philadelphia, PA. Philly Fashion guru Sabir Peele tells us why Mike  is this week's That Guy.

What I like about this look?

There are a few things that I really like about this. Mike really pulls off wearing dark colors even in the oppressively hot summer days in the city. The bandana and backpack stylishly add a pop of color to this look. As an added practical bonus, that bandana is keeping sweat from falling into his eyes and the backpack is great for carrying all of this things as he roams around the city. By going with a tank and shorts, we are able to see some great body art too.

Where could this outfit be worn?

This is a look that I would consider "hipster-cool". If you've had the chance to visit any of the major outdoor concert festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo or Fire Fly you will see that this style of outfit is the typical uniform for most guys. With the weather continuously in the high 90's, this outfit would be great if you are heading to any outdoor sporting events or taking a trip over to The Piazza at Schmidts to catch a movie or game on the big screen.

Where can you buy this particular look?

If you are looking for a pair of cut off jeans shorts look no further than Target, True Religion or Volcom. A denim low-top sneaker can be hard to find, but, you can always count on the legendary Converse brand to have a pair just for you. BDG, Gap and LRG Brand are some of your best resources if you are in need of a tank top shirt this summer. Lastly, you can find bandanas at your local Arm/Navy store, Target or even at Psycho Bunny.

Style Tip?

Overall, this look is perfect in terms of practicality, personality and summer style. If you want to change up the look slightly, go with a lighter color sneaker (maybe a white canvas sneaker would
