The maternity market has seen a surge in graphic tees and belly painting proclaiming pregnancy, according to a press release, and Mother Ink follows suit.
President Laura Silverthorn reported an increase in sales since introducing the product,the press release said. Silverthorn wasn’t satisfied with Henna tattoo options for her while she was expecting, so she created this design.
The FDA-approved tats are hand drawn and made with colorful, vegetable-based inks, safe for mom and baby, the release said.
The belly-fitting body art is a little larger than a CD and costs about $5.
