Bo, who’s less than a year old, is a loving, friendly and playful dog but his front legs were badly deformed. In order to be a normal dog again Bo needs reconstructive surgery. His condition must be corrected now since he's young.
Once he gets the procedure he can hopefully live a long and healthy life.
To help raise money for his surgery, Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse (1823 Sansom Street) will hold a fundraiser Thursday night from 8 to 10. PAWS needs to raise at least $5,000 for Bo’s surgery.
There will be a $20 cover charge that includes open bar, buffet, music and giveaways. At the event there will also be raffle items and a silent auction. But the big draw is the chance to meet Bo.
Bo is in foster care right now and he’s also looking for an adopter and loving home to help him get through the surgery. If you can’t make it at the event you can also donate online.
