Third Eye Blind Rocks Free Concert at Xfinity Live Opening

Alt-rock band to play entertainment venue's grand opening on March 30

Third Eye Blind is bringing the "Semi-Charmed Life" to a free outdoor concert to mark the grand opening of Xfinity Live on March 30.

Xfinity Live is an entertainment and dining area that is a part of the Wells Fargo Complex. Third Eye Blind will be one of the first of many local, regional and national acts the new venue hopes to attract.

“Philly deserves the best in world-class entertainment and Third Eye Blind is representative of our commitment to bringing high-quality national acts to Philly's dining and entertainment district,” said Reed Cordish of The Cordish Companies, developers of Xfinity Live in a statement. 

Leadman Stephan Jenkins and Third Eye Blind formed in San Francisco in mid-90s.

They've recorded four albums including the six-time platinum self-titled album and 2009's Ursa Major. They are best known for the singles “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Never Let You Go,” "Graduate," "How's It Going to Be" and “Jumper.”

The non-ticketed concert will begin at 8 p.m. and is open to the public.

And the doors open at XFinity Live for the first time at 4 p.m.
