There’s nothing like some delicious turkey after a fun night of partying on Thanksgiving Eve.
That’s right, Thanksgiving Eve -- the biggest party night of the year when friends reconnect as they return home -- is right around the corner and if you’re not sure where you want to go to celebrate, here are some places that might be worth checking out.
The All-Access Thanksgiving Eve is invite only so sign up before 5 p.m. on Nov. 23. The all-access pass includes $. 50 Bud Light Drafts and well drinks from 8 to 10 p.m. at Center City’s Drinkers Pub, Drinkers West, Noche, Old City’s Drinkers Tavern and Lucy’s Hat Shop.
The McFadden’s party bus will be all Philly as the Northern Liberties location hosts its Thanksgiving Eve Bash with a two-hour open bar of Coors Light, drinks and wine for only 10 bucks when you sign up. There will also be $3 Wild Turkey shots and $4 Absolut drinks.
You won’t want to miss the Pilgrims and Pocahontas Party at Mad River in Manayunk offering free PrimoHoagies from 7 to 9 p.m., $2 Bud Lights and $3 mixed well drinks from 8 to 10 p.m. There's no cover before 10 for the people dressed like a pilgrim or Pocahontas (Thanksgiving-theme?) and just a $5 charge from 8 to 9 and $10 after 9 for everyone else.
Reunite with old friends and even make some new ones to celebrate the biggest party night of the year all while knowing the best cure to your hangover will be the amount of food eaten the next day.
Of course be careful out there and don't drink or drive -- call a cab instead or designate a driver. Police around the region will be on the lookout for drunk drivers.
