Steel Pier Set for the Season

One of AC's most legendary attractions is ready for Summer 2010

One of Atlantic City’s most popular family attractions is ready to dust off the turnstiles for Summer 2010.

Steel Pier, one of the most legendary landmarks at the Jersey Shore, reopens to the public on Saturday at noon.

And they're offering some pretty sweet deals. Not only is admission free, but ticket prices for rides are reasonable as well.

Not familiar with the family fun spot? No big deal -- let’s get you caught up.

Since 1898, Steel Pier has entertained children of all ages with non-stop entertainment that once included Frank Sinatra and novelty acts like the Diving Horse. Yes, Diving Horses.

Today Steel Pier is the home to 25 amusement rides, helicopter rides, a variety of amusement games, delicious boardwalk food and much more.

It’s located at Virginia Avenue and the Boardwalk Atlantic City, directly across from the Taj Mahal Resort and Casino. For more information give (609) 345-4893 a ring or visit the Steel Pier Web site.
