Six Flags is opening their 2010 season on Saturday, March 27 with a bizarre twist.
30 riders will compete to be the last man or woman standing after riding the Bizzaro coaster for eight hours in this truly bizzare ride-a-thon. The coaster is 142-feet tall and a top speed of 60 mph with seven loops. This coaster is not for the faint of heart -- or queasy stomach.
The three and a half minute ride is enough to make you green in the face, but diehard coaster junkies that can stomach the rough ride will compete to win the ultimate grand prize -- a VIP tour for four at Six Flags with a personal tour guide and front of the line access.
That's if they ever want to see another roller coaster again.
This season at Six Flags, the season pass is a steal at $79.99. They are also bringing back favorites like the summer concert series and the Saturday night fireworks display starting in July.
