For some, Valentine's Day is a time to buy candy, roses and splurge on a fancy, romantic dinner.
For others, it's a time to bemoan our culture of commercialism, hate on Cupid and curse the existence of love.
Yeah, it can be rough to be single on Valentine's Day. But thanks to some networking groups and Philly bars, it doesn't have to suck. Bars and clubs across the city are hosting singles' parties in the days leading up to Valentine's Day and on the holiday itself. They're you're chance to get out there and mingle with other singles in the city.
And hey—if it goes well, maybe you’ll end up with a date for Valentine’s Day after all.
