Get Back to Your Roots

The annual concert is Saturday

Live from the 215, one of Philly's favorite musical acts, The Roots, will hold their annual Roots picnic at Penn's Landing's Festival Pier for the third year in a row. The music fest will rock the river Saturday, June 5.

The Roots, whose distinctive sound has earned them critical acclaim, are taking some time off from their "Jimmy Fallon" gig to bring you one of the hottest concerts this side of the Delaware.

This year’s main stage will have sets from The Roots, Vampire Weekend, Mayer Hawthorne, Clipse, The Very Best, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Tune-Yards, Das Racist, MM Jamboys, Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew and Pattern is Movement, Memory Tapes, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, NNEKA, Foreign Exchange, John Legend and DJ Diamond Kuts. Previously the event has hosted big names like Kid Cudi, Gnarles Barkley and Public Enemy.

The show starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at LiveNation.com and the Live Nation box office.
