A “Zumbathon”/Run to Fight MS

Walk MS is holding a Zumbathon to raise money for a good cause

Don’t miss the chance to be a part of what's already being called "the largest MS fundraiser in history" when Zumba teams dance their way to a world free of MS on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

On Sunday morning May 1 the Walk MS Zumbathon fundraiser will draw hundreds of Zumba fanatics together to raise money for a great cause that anyone can support -- the battle to cure Multiple sclerosis.

The Zumbathon features 10-person teams of dancers taking part in a two-hour fitness party on the famous Museum steps.

Other participants in the Zumbathon can take in the view of Boathouse Row and Kelly Drive while running a 5K or 10K race or walking for four or six miles to support the fight against MS.

Registration for runners will begin at 7 a.m. and the run will begin at 8. Registration for walkers will start an hour later at 8 and the walk will begin at 9.

The fundraiser will take place rain or shine and a minimum donation of $25 is required for any participants over age 12.
