A Presidential Celebration at the Constitution Center

Get historical this President's Day

Want to know what it’s like to be president? Philly has the perfect place to brush up on your history this President’s Day Weekend.

The National Constitution Center is holding an all-day celebration of our nation’s presidents where guests can learn what it takes to be Commander-in-Chief.

Presidential re-enactors will be around the Center all day to pose for photos, sign autographs, discuss their presidencies and even play a wiffle ball game while teaching guests about the importance of the presidential first pitch.

Visitors will learn about presidential leadership styles, functions of the executive branch, presidential perks and responsibilities. Plus there will be plenty of great tidbits about the first ladies of the United States.

Also check out an in-depth look into the lives of our 44 leaders from their early lives to their time as president.

Other activities include voting for a “favorite forgottable president” and creating presidential crafts such as campaign buttons and presidential seals.

The historic celebration will take place on Saturday, Feb. 19 and entry to the events are included with regular museum admission.
