Philly Won't be in Brad Pitt's Zombie Movie

Looks like we won’t seeing Brad Pitt in Philly this summer for the shoot of his new movie, World War Z.

Blame your local lawmakers. Philly was luring movie makers here with tax credits, but unless Governor Corbett's budget is passed, there's no guarantee, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Crews had already scouted Philly, where the story about a post-Armageddon zombie world is based, but now it looks like Plan B is to shoot the Philly scenes in Scotland.

The project would have infused about $40 million into the local economy, film office executive Sharon Pinkenson told the Inky.
