Philly Musicians Are Ready to Rock

Over 60 aspiring musicians in Philly are getting the chance to live out their dream at the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Upper Darby.

The camp is run by Mark Hudson, who’s written songs for Aerosmith, Cher and Celine Dion.

Mark, the uncle of actress Kate Hudson, is also the creator of the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp reality show on VH1.

Registration and audition for campers took place on Friday afternoon. Rehearsals, classes and a VIP dinner will take place on Saturday.

Finally, Sunday is showtime, as the rock and roll hopefulls will perform at the Trocadero Theatre from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Hudson has very valuable advice for all who dream of making it in Rock and Roll.

“All they got to do is put on their guitar, close your eyes and hit a note you never thought you could hit. Aaaaah! Just do it!”
