    Polanco is back in Philly.

Phillies fever is slowly building again as players, coaches, Ballgirls and the Phanatic (of course) meet fans around the Tri-State area throughout January.

This weekend instead of the Phillies coming to the fans -- the team is banking on the fans coming to the Phillies to welcome home an old friend.

Phillies third baseman Placido Polanco will be signing autographs for some lucky fans Saturday at the Majestic Clubhouse Store and Citizens Bank Park.

The two-time Gold Glove second baseman (who was signed this off-season to play third) will be on hand to put his John Hancock on some Phils gear and take photos with fans. But, get there early -- the meet and greet is limited to the first 500 fans only.

If you don’t get to meet the newest, old (he played with the Phils form 2002 to 2005) Phillie you can still get to at least bump elbows with the Phillie Phanatic and the Ballgirls.

The event is free and goes from noon to 1:30 p.m. Fans can also park for free in Lot P off Darien Street.
