    FREE FOOD INFO: Opening your own restaurant just got a little easier. The owners of some of Philly’s most successful restaurants will hold a workshop on how they run their businesses. Paul Kimport, owner of Johnny Brenda's, Munish Narula, president of Tiffin Indian Cuisine and Alfredo Aquilar, founder of Las Cazuelas, will hold the free workshop at 6 p.m. at 1600 West Girard Avenue, but you must sign up online.

    COLLEGE FOLK HERO: A former Georgia social studies teacher, Corey Smith, is a favorite among everyone from high schoolers to college graduates to those who wish they could go back in time. Smith brings his youth invoking music to the World Café for a 7:30 p.m. show with Whiskey Train. The show is all ages and tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
