Miguel to Perform at UPenn

R&B/Pop Singer Miguel is set to perform at the University of Pennsylvania on Friday.

R&B/Pop Singer Miguel is set to perform at the University of Pennsylvania for the 2012 SPEC-TRUM Fall Event. Miguel will take the stage on Friday, October 26 at the Harrison Auditorium located at 33rd and Spruce St. (doors open at 8:30 p.m.) The UPenn student group SPEC-TRUM (To Represent Undergraduate Minorities) is offering three lucky fans the chance to meet Miguel backstage after the show.

From Los Angeles, California, Miguel is an award winning singer/songwriter. His debut album All I Want Is You spawned the hit singles, “All I Want Is You” featuring J. Cole, “Quickie”, and the #1 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop hit, “Sure Thing”. His new album, Kaleidoscope Dream, is a colorful collection of songs featuring the #1 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop single, “Adorn” and the follow-up smash, “Do You…”

“Miguel is a one of a kind artist, with an extremely unique sound. His lyrical word play, puns, and retro-centric songs are perfect for intimate moments, says Evan Booker, SPEC-TRUM Co-Director. “His pure sound and vocal dexterity will pull you in. As the season gets colder, his sounds are sure to heat things up.”

Tickets are available for purchase online here and available on Locust Walk on Penn’s campus (between 36th and 38th Locust). Tickets are $15 for Penn students and the general public. Day of show tickets are $20.
