Celebs, Athletes to be Inducted Into NJ Hall of Fame

Michael Douglas, Eric LeGrand and Carl Lewis will be inducted into the NJ Hall of Fame on Saturday and you can be there!

Ten outstanding New Jerseyans will be inducted into the state's Hall of Fame on Saturday.
 
The fifth annual induction ceremony at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark features actor Michael Douglas, fiction writer Joyce Carol Oates and media mogul Samuel I. Newhouse.
 
Eric LeGrand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football player who recovered from a paralyzing spinal cord injury while playing for Rutgers University, will receive the Unsung Hero Award.
 
Boxer Chuck Wepner, novelist Mary Higgins Clark, Olympic icon Carl Lewis and astronaut Buzz Aldrin are expected to attend.
 
Gov. Chris Christie and his wife, Mary Pat, are the evening's hosts.
 
The event begins with a red-carpet walk at 5 p.m.
