Eat Ribs, Help Kids

Spend the night tasting food from Philly’s best restaurants while listening to awesome music and helping a good cause.

Philadelphia Magazine's Best Band pick for 2009, Black Landlord, is teaming up with local restaurants to raise adoption awareness in Philadelphia -- with a barbecue.

The all you can eat barbecue takes place on Sunday, August 30 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. at 941 Theatre in Northern Liberties.

Black Landlord will perform with other bands such as Kuf Knotz & the Hustle, Prowler and Brown Sugar just to name a few.

This is an important cause for the band who has friends and family members who have been adopted and have worked really hard with local agencies to make this fundraiser happen.

If you're interested in knowing more information about adoption, local agencies will be there to answer any questions you might have and to distribute information.

Admission is $25 and it includes drinks and food from local eateries (and breweries) like Bar Ferdinand, El Camino Real, the Standard Tap, Nodding Head Brewery, and Manayunk Brewery.

Grab your friends and come out for a drink and great food while helping to raise awareness for local adoption.
