The celebration culminate this Saturday, July 16 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the Global Fusion Festival at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing as part of PECO’s summer-long Multicultural Festival Series.

The festival, which is in its fifth year, is carnival-themed and will feature Caribbean, Hispanic, African, African-American and Asian cultural performers. The festival will embody Philadelphia’s dynamic culture and provide entertainment for visitors of all ages.

There will be an eclectic array of famous artists taking the stage including British R&B singer Estelle, Grammy-nominated singer Anthony David and Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill.

Inside the Children’s Carnival City, kids can enjoy several fun activities. The Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels will be there too, with face painters and folklorists telling cultural fables.

For adults, there will be a tented Fusion Beer Garden. Stop by the garden to sip on your choice of Coors, Coors Light, Blue Moon, Banquet and Summer Ale. A beer garden wristband must be retrieved to enter the garden (and all drinks must stay within the garden).

There will be many vendors on site for the festival. Food, information and merchandise vendors will make sure you are immersed in culture by the time you leave.
