See These Holiday Plays

There's a show for everyone here in Philly

Whether you want traditional or hip-hop, a classic or something for the kids, you'll find it on stage in Philly this holiday season.

It wouldn't be Christmas without an experience with Ebenezer Scrooge, so head to A Christmas Carol at the Hedgerow Theatre in Media, Pa. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and students and $12 for kids.

For a twist on the same old story, you can check out The Christmas Carol Conspiracy: Scrooge's Revenge at the Heritage Center in Morrisville, Pa. They are also showing the original version of the story every other night. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and $10 for kids.

For a classic this holiday season, head to the Pennsylvania Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. It starts Dec. 12 and will play through New Years Eve at the Academy of Music. Tickets start at $24.

Not into the ballet? Then try something a little different. The Nutcracka: A Hip Hop Nutcracker will be playing Dec. 18 and 19 at the Remix Theater in Collingswood, N.J. Tickets are $15.

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas, look no further. You can see Irving Berlin's White Christmas at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts until Dec. 6. Tickets start at $30.

For a totally new Christmas experience, head to the puppet version of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, brought to you by the Renaissance Artist Puppet Company. Tickets are $10.50 for adults and $8.50 for children.

Everyone loves Frosty the Snowman, so why not see him live? His show will be at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman from Dec. 17 to 19. Tickets are available at the Box Office.
