IHOP Offers Free Short Stack for National Pancake Day

You can cozy up to stack of flapjacks Tuesday while helping kids

IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day by offering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes Tuesday.

There is a catch but one that most people won't mind buttering up to since it's for a good cause.

While the hotcakes are free, diners are being asked to make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals programs, which raise money for children's hospitals across America including The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in University City.

The goal is to raise around $2.7 million for the charities, according to IHOP.

There are nearly three dozen IHOP locations within 50 miles of Philadelphia including locations in Center City (1320 Walnut Street), Northeast Philly (4310 Roosevelt Boulevard), Bala Cynwyd (115 W City Line Avenue), Jenkintown (481 Old York Road), Cherry Hill (1602 Church Road), Wilmington (2001 Concord Pike, Suite 102) and plenty of other locations.

The Pancake Day offer runs from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at participating locations.
