Mad Dragon Breaths Philly Music Into Drexel

Drexel students bring talented Philly musicians to University City

Philly's music scene is thriving and for just 10 bucks you can see some of the budding stars calling Philly home.

Drexel’s student-run record label, MAD Dragon Records, will feature an all-star lineup at their MAD Dragon Concert on Thursday night.

The event will feature performances from Free Energy, who was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s best new bands of 2010, plus the Spinning Leaves, Hezekiah Jones, Toy Soldiers and Kuf Knotz.

The Mandell Theater concert is made possible by student organizations MAD Dragon Records and MADKO Concerts and will feature MAD Dragon artists Jones and Knotz.

Admission to the concert is $10 for the public and free for Drexel students. Doors open at 7.

The concert will also be broadcast at a later date on the Drexel University Television Station.
