Fireworks Set to Illuminate the Sky

Fireworks are set to launch into and light up the skies, in celebration of Independence Day throughout the week. NBC10 has the list to let you know where to go to see the amazing shows

Fireworks will light up the skies in celebration of Independence Day throughout the week in our area. There are a number of places that you can go to enjoy the festivities. NBC10 has the list for you:

July 3rd

Pennsylvania:

Montgomery County

Sutcliffe Park, West 10th and Freedly St., will host fireworks and festivities on Tuesday, July 3. A groundbreaking ceremony for its new concession stand starts at 5:00 p.m. Fireworks will begin approximately at 9:30 pm.

Bucks County

In Feasterville, the Dolphin Swim Club at 260 West Bristol Road will hold a carnival that  starts at 7:00 pm. Fireworks will follow at dusk.

New Jersey:

Burlington County

In Shamong, NJ, an Independence Day Fireworks Festival will be held on the festival grounds at 1320 Old Indian Mills Rd. Admission is $5.00 and fireworks start at sunset.

In Medford, NJ, Freedom Park will have an Independence Day Celebration from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Camden County

In Barrington, NJ, Woodland Elementary School will hold fireworks at dusk.

In Gloucester City, Gloucester High School will have a parade along Broadway and fireworks that will start at dusk.

In Haddon Township, the annual fireworks display at Haddon Township High School Stadium will start at dusk. Gates open at 7:00 p.m.

In Haddonfield, the Haddonfield Memorial High School Stadium will hold fireworks and music entertainment. Gates will open at 7:00 p.m. and fireworks will start around 9:00 p.m.

Gloucester County

In Washington Township, Washington Lake Park Amphitheater will hold a concert at 7:00 p.m. and fireworks at 9:00 p.m.

July 4th

Pennsylvania:

Philadelphia County

Philadelphia Museum of Art will launch fireworks at 11:00 p.m. at Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Wawa Welcome America July 4th Jam will precede the fireworks. Questlove and the Roots will headline the free concert and be joined by Queen Latifah, Daryl Hall, Common, Joe Jonas and other musicians.

Lawncrest Recreation Center will have a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day. The fireworks start at dusk. The recreation center is located at 6000 Rising Sun Ave.

Montgomery County

Abington Senior High School will shoot fireworks into the sky at 9:00 p.m. The school is located at 900 Highland Ave. in Abington, Pa.

Eagleville Park will have an Independence Day Celebration. The park will hold a concert by “Soul Purpose,” which starts at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will approximately start at 9:15 p.m. The park is located at 100 Parkland Drive in Eagleville, Pa.

Waltz Golf Farm will hold a frère fireworks show that starts at 9:30 p.m. Live music by “Tropical Soul” will start at 7:30 p.m. and last until 10:30 p.m. The Waltz Golf Farm is located at 303 W. Ridge Pike in Limerick, Pa.

A 4th of July Fireworks display will be held at Elmwood Park in Norristown, Pa. The fireworks will start at dusk. The park is located at Sterigere St. and Harding Blvd.

In Pottstown, Memorial Park will hold a fireworks display that will start at 9:30 p.m.

In Skippack, Palmer Park, between Heckler and Creamery Roads, will hold fireworks that will start at dusk.

In Narberth, the Narbeth Park will hold an Independence Day Celebration that goes on all day. Fireworks will start around 9:30 p.m.

In Upper Merion, Heuser Park will hold a fireworks display at 9 pm. 

Bucks County

In Langhorne, the Sesame Place will hold a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

In Quakertown, the Quakertown Memorial Park will have fireworks that will start at dusk.

In Southampton, Klinger Middle School, at 1415 Second Street Pike, will have a fireworks display at 9:30 pm.

Delaware County

In Aston, Sun Valley High School on Pancoast Ave. will have fireworks that will start at dusk.

In Lansdowne, Penn Wood High School Field on 100 Green Ave. will have a fireworks display  at 9:00 p.m.

In Radnor, Radnor High School on 130 King of Prussia Rd. will have a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

In Clifton Heights, Clifton Heights Athletic Field on Springfield and Sycamore Ave. will begin fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

In Collingdale, Collingdale Park will host a fireworks display at 9:00p.m.

In Norwood, Norwood Lower Park will have a concert from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fireworks will start at dusk.

Chester County

In Downingtown, Kerr Park will start its fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

In Phoenixville, Friendship Field at the corner of Fillmore St. and Franklin Ave. will hold a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

For Chesterbrook, Tredyffrin, and Easttown, the Wilson Farm Park, on 500 Lee Road will hold a fireworks display at 7:00 p.m.

New Jersey:

Camden County

In Collingswood, gates open at 6:30 p.m. and fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. The display will be held at the High School stadium at 424 Collings Ave.

In Berlin, the Berlin-Camden County Park will start its fireworks at dusk.

In Audubon, Audubon High School will hold a fireworks display at dusk. The high school is located at Edgewood Ave. & Walnut.

A free fireworks show will go off around 9:00 p.m. at Jonas Morris Football Stadium at Cherry Hill West High School.

Gloucester County

In Monroe Township, Thompson Park will begin its 4th of July celebration at 5:00 p.m. The fireworks display will start at dusk.

In Pitman, Alcyon Lake will hold a fireworks display that will start at dusk.

Jersey Shore

Avalon will host a patriotic fireworks display along the 30th Street Beach. The booms begin around 9:15 p.m. and will be set to patriotic music broadcast on WCZT 98.7.

Fireworks will light up the sky above the 9th Street Beach in Ocean City, N.J. Festivities begin with kite flying at 5 p.m. with fireworks coming after dark.

Atlantic City will celebrate with its "Let It Rock" fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. along the beach and boardwalk between the Atlantic Club and Revel Casinos.

In Sea Isle City, a fireworks display will begin at dusk at JFK Blvd & The Beach.

In Stone Harbor, a fireworks display and a band concert starts at 9:00 p.m. at the 80th Street Field

In Wildwood, a fireworks display will start at dusk on the beach at Pine Ave. July 4. Fireworks will start at dusk.

In Cape May, fireworks will start at the Congress Hall at 9:15 p.m.

In Ventnor, fireworks will start at 9:00 p.m. on Granville Ave.

Delaware:

Newark, Del. will be hosting a music and fireworks celebration starting at 6 p.m. at the University of Delaware Athletic fields. Fireworks set for dusk.

July 5th

Pennsylvania:

Bucks County

In Perkasie, Lenape Park on Rt. 152. will hold its 36th Annual Pennridge Community Day. The day is filled with games, contests, entertainment, hayrides and fireworks.

July 6th

Pennsylvania:

Montgomery County

In Lower Moreland, the Lower Moreland High School on Red Lion rd. will start its fireworks display at 9 p.m.

New Jersey:

Camden County

In Camden at the Camden Waterfront Park, fireworks will start at dusk.

Jersey Shore

Summer fireworks at Wildwood beach at Pine Ave. Fireworks start at 10:00 p.m.

July 7th

Pennsylvania:

Philadelphia County

There will be a Star-Spangled Night with the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" culminating in fireworks above the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing. Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.

Bucks County

In Newtown, Newtown Middle School, at 116 Richboro Rd., will have fireworks at dusk.

Chester County

In North Coventry at the North Coventry Fire Company, fireworks begin at 10:30 p.m.

In Uwchlan Township, Lionville Park will host Community Day from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Delaware County

East Lake Park, in Ridley Park, Pa., will hold its 2nd Annual Car Show at 2:00 p.m. Fireworks will start at dusk.

New Jersey:

Burlington County

In Florence Township: the Veterans Park at the municipal building, will hold a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.
