Eagles Cheerleaders Bring Eco-Sexy Back

The Swimsuit Calendar is back and greener then ever

Eagles Cheerleaders are certainly known for turning up the heat and turning heads --but this time it’s benefiting a great, eco-friendly cause.

You’ll see just how sexy 'going green' can be in their 2010-11 Calendar Unveiling at the Prince Music Theater on Thursday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m.

The Saving the Oceans calendar features all 38-members of the squad, modeling bikinis made from sustainable material such as recycled nylon fishing nets from Eco-Panda Swimwear, according to Ecorazzi.

If you tend to enjoy Eagles games for the entertainment on the sidelines, you’ll definitely enjoy this gala with a fashion show and dance performance from the squad.

Some of their green practices were put to test on Tuesday, when the squad teamed up with United By Blue and helped remove over 600-pounds of trash from the Delaware River at Neshaminy State Park.

And hey, what other way could a great looking squad benefit our beautiful planet?

They are donating 10-percent of this year’s calendar sales to the Gulf Restoration Network to aid in the oil-spill clean up.

Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster for $22.50 but they're going quick -- we wonder why? You'll also receive a copy of the new calendar and get a chance to get up close with the cheerleaders for autographs and photos.

If you miss out the show, you’ll just have to settle for the calendar until Eagles Flight Night on August 5 when the full squad will perform for the first time at Lincoln Financial Field.
