While we definitely admire the lengths to which artisan brewers are going to get us to drink their latest concoctions, it's unnecessary. They had us when they tapped the keg. If they pour it, we will come.
Tonight, the folks of Dogfish Head brewery have come up with a novel way to unleash its new 75 Minute IPA upon the world (well, the Eastern seaboard). Tonight at 7:50 on the dot, firkins of the brew will be "simulcasked" at bars in Philadelphia, New York and Boston. In our area, Monk's Café,Standard Tap,Memphis Taproom,Grey Lodge,Devil's Den and Jose Pistolas are all participating in the event.
Whether or not you go to make beer (or marketing) history, you'll at least get a tasty beverage out of it.
