Get ready for an overbundance of hair gel and fist-pumping. Locals are gonna get a double dose of reality when "Jersey Shore's" most infamous pair come to town. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will host parties in the area.
This Valentine's Day weekend locals can expect a "shore" shot of celebratory hi-jinks and "The Situation" -- abs and all. The "Jersey Shore's" number one meathead will be at the Buckhead Saloon on 3rd St. this Friday, Feb. 12. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Sorry, no word on whether or not he will be doing laundry or tanning at this event.
On Tuesday, Feb. 16, the bite-sized "Snooki" will host a Fat Tuesday extravaganza at Bootleggers on MacDade Blvd. in Woodlyn, Pa. Get ready for a free lunch buffet, a lingerie show and, yes, another round of mechanical bull riding. Philly's own DJ Tommy Diz will share the stage with a number of local cover bands. The event is presented by Wired 96.5 and Miller Lite. Doors open at 10 a.m.
