Comic Con Invades Philly

Get your pop culture fix with a weekend packed with B-list celebs

Come rub elbows with some of your fave pop culture icons during the Philadelphia Comic Con this weekend.

June 11 to June 13, Wizard World’s Comic Con returns to Philly for its tenth straight year at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Get your geek on alongside the actors who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard, the Hulk,and Batman as well as the artists from "Iron Man," "Green Lantern" and "Superman" and "Batman" comic books.

Tia Carrere of "Curb your Enthusiasm," "Friday Night Lights" hottie Scott Porter and James Marsters of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" are also among the 150 celebrities scheduled to attend.

“I think my fans are some of the coolest people I've met and I am excited to discuss and celebrate the characters I've played with all of them,” Marsters said in a press release.

And lets not forget, reality TV stars Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight (of "My Fair Brady") will be there, too.

Really into Comic Con? Dress up as your favorite character because prizes for the best costume will be awarded daily.
 

As an added bonus, aspiring filmmakers can enter their short films in the NYC Horror Film Festival’s Killer Short Sudden Death Competition.

Tickets can be purchased at the door -- or save a couple bucks and get your tickets early online.

Comic Con hours are 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 10.a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
