Childish Fun at Washington Square Park

Play flashlight tag in Philly

The weather is getting nice (we hope), which means it’s time to get outside and run around.

Get Out Philadelphia will be holding a game of flashlight tag in Washington Square Park at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 16.

The adventure begins at the Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary War Soldier where the rules will be explained, since most people probably haven’t played in a while.

Once everyone is tired out, the group will be kicking back with some food and drinks at a local casual and cheap bar.

Get Out Philadelphia held a smilar event in December, to rave reviews.

“Love running around being goofy in the city -- good exercise, good laughs, good people, good times!” said Amy Childs about the December event.

The fun will be postponed if there is rain so keep an eye on the weather forecast the day of the event.

Get Out Philly requests a small $1 donation for the event. Get the latest info and RSVP on Facebook.

The only thing you have to remember is to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. And of course, don’t forget a flashlight!
