Falling for the Arts in Chestnut Hill

Artists show their work at the Fall for the Arts Festival

Fall in love with the arts Sunday at the 27th Annual Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival.

Many talented artists will be showing their work up and down Germantown Avenue between Willow Grove and Rex Avenues.

More 150 artists regionally and locally will take over the streets of Chestnut Hill, which will also include live music from two stages, delicious food and boutique shopping.

Since art will be the center of this event there will be displays of art work involving oils, watercolors, photography, pottery, jewelry and much more all available to purchase.

With a great weather forecast bring the whole family. The event is for all ages with children’s rides and activities including a special amusement park as well as sand art and wood crafts.

There will also be new performances this year with Scottish-style, hip-hop and Zumba dancing plus more.

The event is free but some of the activities are pay as you go. There is also a special $5 parking available.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. through 5 p.m.
