If your inner child is a big Popeye fan, now you can get a little nostalgic and introduce your own kids to one of your favorite cartoon characters.
The Independence Seaport Museum (211 S. Columbus Blvd & Walnut St.) will show "Popeye" starring Robin Williams, in the ampitheater on Tuesday, August 18 at 7 p.m. You'll get to interact with other movie-goers (props included).
And of course you can’t have a movie without popcorn. That's on the house. Free popcorn, giveaways, trivia and a ton of activities. Plus, if you've always wanted to dress up like your favorite spinach-sluggin' tough guy...
Don’t forget to bring your camera to snap some pictures with the ‘reel’ Popeye. Admission is $5.
If it rains, the flick will be shown in the second floor balcony (tented) overlooking the Delaware River.
