10/12: Beer, Beats and Burritos

In Your Hood: It’s Philly Neighborhood Food Week all this week so grab a bite to eat at any participating restaurant in Northern Liberties, City Avenue, Ogonotz Avenue, East Passyunk, West Passyunk, Manayunk, Darby, Penn’s Landing and South Street. Each restaurant will offer three or four course meals at either $20 or $30. We recommend checking out Chart House where you can try their chowder, shrimp, salmon, prime rib or mud pie. Chart House, 555 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pa. 19147, $30, 5 p.m.

Los Campesinos!: Los Campesinos! invade Johnny Brenda’s tonight. The amazing seven-piece Welsh band just released their second album, All’s Well That Ends and we guarantee you will be singing along to all of their catchy indie pop tunes. Johnny Foreigner will open the show. Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19125, $15, 9 pm.

You-Call-It: Make your way into Manayunk tonight for $2 you-call-its and $2 PBRs at Yunker’s Pub and Lounge. With a laid-back atmosphere, the cozy lounge offers darts, beer pong, outdoor bar seats and a wall to write a message to fellow pub-goers. Grab a burrito next door at Machismo Burrito Bar and come back for the acoustic sounds of Erick & Coop from 52 Pickup. Yunker’s Pub, 4421 Main Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19127, +21, Free, 10 p.m.
