Clarkson in Concert: Kelly Clarkson, The Veronicas and Parachute will perform this Saturday night. Tickets begin at less than $40 and with three great performers, it's a steal. You know Clarkson as the first "American Idol" winner who has had more top Billboard singles than any other Idol. The Veronicas are an electropop-rock duo from Australia. The tattooed twins have recently performed their single, Hook Me Up, on "So You Think You Can Dance." Parachute is a new group with a rock meets vintage R&B sound and has a hit single, She is Love. Fan of Trance: Bust out your best dance moves for the monthly trance and progressive dance movement this Saturday at 2204 Liberty Bar. With world-class deejays such as Joey Hardcore, KT, Double B and guest deejay, DJ Chubby C, this party is guaranteed fun. Hear the underground sounds stemming from Europe, South America, Russia and Japan, all right here in Philadelphia. Entry is free and there are always drink and beer specials. Cravin’ Calypso: Be a part of the Caribbean culture this Saturday night as you celebrate dance, music, video and history at the Painted Bride Art Center in Old City. Calypso music and dance are celebrated in the world premiere of Cynthia Oliver’s Rigidigidim De Bamba De: Ruptured Calypso.  With an international cast in tow, celebrate culture and the 40th anniversary of the Painted Bride Art Center. Toxic Event: This Saturday night, enjoy the orchestral rock sounds of The Airborne Toxic Event at the Troc. With singles like Sometime Around Midnight and Wishing Well, this indie rock group has taken the charts by storm. Beginning as a popular rock group on MySpace, The Airborne Toxic Event gained popularity after their performance on "Last Call with Carson Daly." Since then, the band has re-released singles and created tons of new music. See them Saturday night, as we are sure they won’t disappoint. Philly Food Week: Beginning Sunday night, get your food fix on with another round of restaurant week -- this time, outside center city. Over 30 different restaurants from Philly’s favorite neighborhoods will participate. Restaurants in Manayunk, Northern Liberties, East Passyunk, Penn’s Landing and Chestnut Hill will provide three or four course meals priced at $20 or $30 per person.
