Think you’d make a good Philthy Britch or Broad Street Butcher?
If so, you might want to head to Millennium Skateworld in Camden, N.J., Monday, March 30 for Philly Roller Girls tryouts.
Grab some comfy athletic clothes (ones you wouldn’t mind, uh, ripping or streteching) and head to Millennium Skateworld (1900 Carman St., Camden) to show your stuff. Trainers will be looking for skaters with good balance, comfort on skates and ability to take direction.
Tryouts start at 7 p.m., and last about three hours. You’ll want to bring an ID (roller girls must be 21+), but don’t worry if you don’t own skates—they'll be provided at no charge if you need them.
Everyone who tries out will be notified of whether they’ve made a team by the end of the week.
