Now in it's sixth-year, the Main Line Jazz and Food Festival has made some major changes. Normally, the June event takes place on Sunday, but this year, organizers moved it to Saturday.
But that's not the only change.
Instead sweating it out in the summer heat during a daytime only event, the festival will begin at noon and continue into the evening (ending around 10 p.m.), according to Aroundmainline.com.
"We had always envisioned an evening event, under the stars with the Jazz Fest. Due to the heat and always having it on a Sunday, not being able to stay for the fabulous headliners, it’s now clearly a natural progression," explained one of the festival founders, Jennifer Bailer.
This year's Jazz and Food Fest sponsored by Mail Line Land Rover will be held on Saturday, June 13 on North Wayne Avenue.
Another fancy perk of this year's festival? All restaurants on the Ave. will be serving customers food and alcohol outside for the first time in history!
So with outdoor eating and drinking, six amazing concerts under the stars and tons of fun, we're thinking that there's no reason not to go!
