What makes a better story than the time you got tipsy and ended up with a tattoo? How about the time you got tipsy (or not) and ended up with a free tattoo?
Here's your chance. Philly-based punk band The A.K.A.s are offering free tattoos on Sunday, June 14, from noon to 8 p.m. at Philadelphia Eddie's Tattoo in Chinatown. The band's lead singer, Mike Ski, is also a tattoo artist and to celebrate the kickoff of the Vans Warped Tour, which the band is heading out on tour with, he's giving away free tatts, reports Philadelphia Weekly.
Is there a catch to this free tattoo? Of course there's a catch. The tattoo is free, but you have to get the band's dove logo tattooed on your body.
If you'd like to see the band perform before you make your admiration for them a permanent part of your body, you can catch them on Friday, June 12 at 7 p.m. outside of the Sailor Jerry store in Center City. Like the tattoo, the show is also free. Unlike the tattoo, you can forget about the show afterwards.
