“Run 4 Your Life” This Father's Day

Want to make a difference this Father’s Day?

In the name of a good cause grab your dad and strap on the shoes for a 5K run or one-mile fun walk to raise money to fight prostate cancer.

The seventh annual Father’s Day Prostate Run “Run 4 Your Life,” will take place Sunday at Eakins Oval at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The event promotes awareness and raises money for research and prevention education for prostate cancer.

Each year participants range from survivors, families, medical practitioners and runners who all partake in the run to help raise money to fight the brutal disease.

Many participants will participate in this year's run with a heavy heart after longtime Philly sportscaster Gary Papa died Friday. Top prizes set to be given out in honor of Papa will now be given in memory as part of the Gary Papa Challenge

Last year the fundraiser raised more than $100,000.

Still haven't signed up? Don't worry -- walk up registration opens at 7 a.m. on race day.
