The Newark Arts Alliance opens its "All That Glitters" exhibit today, the culmination of a juried process that had artists from across the region dropping off their pieces in the hopes to catch the eye of juror Vera Kaminski.
"All That Glitters" showcases work in any media that shines, glows, sparkles or catches light in anyway. At such a dreary time of year, who couldn't use a little glittery fun? (Especially now that body glitter is so passé.)
Pieces that had that certain sparkle are available for sale and will be on display through the end of the month.
