The zoo is no longer just for kids, or for parents with kids, or for wild animal lovers or for non-PETA supporters.
The zoo has now expanded its demographic to people who like to get boozy and stare at animals. Nice.
The Philadelphia Zoo is hosting an “Animal Happy Hour” June 5, where adults can pay $50 for a guided tour of the zoo, a meet-and-greet with a zoo keeper and a “special up-close visit with some of the zoo’s residents,” while wine and cheese is provided.
Here’s hoping the night ends with an intoxicated ride in the balloon!
