From December 12 through the 14, head to the Painted Bride Arts Center as ContempraDance Theatre "Craks the Ice” in "Philly-Nutt-Crak-Up."
Watch in awe as the rappin' Sugaplum Fairy takes the stage with her battling hip-hop rats, city hall dolls and Liberty Bell Anne for this holiday "Nutcracker" spoof.
This local version of the holiday classic is based on an original rap song written by the SugaPlum Fairy and is chockful of superheroes, kung-fu, dance, music and comedy!
The story is also filled with references to local Philadelphia places, personalities, foods and our skyline!
