Art lovers around the region have been anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s newest exhibition entitled "Cezanne & Beyond." The collection features 20 watercolors and drawings, and 40 paintings by the influential French Impressionist along with works by several artists who were inspired by his work. Artists with works included in the exhibition include Matisse, Ellsworth Kelly, Jasper Johns, Mondrian and Picasso.
Tickets for the exhibit are $24 but the museum is offering $2 off if you go before April 1. Heading over in the afternoons on the weekdays will only cost you $17. So call out sick and make it really count this time (instead of lying around watching bad TV). Take a lesson from Ferris Bueller.
