Since 1940, the Borough of Wildwood Crest has banned the sale of alcohol, but residents could soon play a role in reversing that nearly 80-year-old law.

Wildwood Crest is one of just a handful of local beach communities that doesn’t allow you to order a drink with dinner or have any local liquor stores. Mayor Don Cabrera believes if they allow alcohol sales in the community, it could help bring in a much needed boost to the Wildwood Crest’s traditional business district.
