First public meeting on Roosevelt Boulevard Subway proposal held in Northeast
Planners for the “Route for Change” held the first of three meetings to discuss building a light-rail and subway underneath Roosevelt Boulevard to make it safer. The proposal suggests the subway would branch off from the SEPTA Broad Street Line along Roosevelt Boulevard and into Bucks County. SEPTA said it could cost $10 billion.
