New Jersey transit riders could soon start paying more as the board of directors approved a 15% fare hike. This is the first hike in the last nine years. The hike is set to begin on July 1 followed by a 3% annual increase. NJ transit officials say the hike will aid their budget deficit.

New Jersey transit service canceled after train crashes into SUV
In South Jersey a New Jersey transit train crashed into a SUV on its way to Atlantic City. SkyForce10 caught passengers exiting the train in Atco as a tow truck removed the vehicle from the tracks nearby. We’re still waiting for more information on any injuries.
