“No Oven Needed Easy Healthy Gourmet” Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients Needed:

•    4-6 Pre-Cooked flatbread or Pita from your local grocery (Wegmans great product & price)
•    Basil pesto (2 cups fresh basil, 3 cloves garlic, ½ parmesan cheese, 1 cup olive oil, salt & pepper)
•    Roasted garlic spread (1 cup cloves  of garlic, drizzled olive oil, salt, pepper, wrap in foil and roast)
•    1 cup sliced sundried tomato
•    1 cup sautéed diced red onions
•    1 cup sautéed sliced button mushrooms
•    3  cups shredded mozzarella
•    3 cups shredded parmesan
•    ½ cup fresh chopped Italian parsley
•    ½ cup fresh chopped basil
•    2 cups roasted red peppers
•    3 cups fresh wilted spinach
•    2-3 thinly sliced tomato
•    1 cup chopped scallions white part included
•    2 cups feta cheese
•    2 cups sliced pepperoni
•    3 cups sliced roasted chicken breast
•    2 cups caramelized white onions
•    A few aluminum pie tins
•    Pastry brush
•    Olive oil bottle
•    Squeeze bottle of warm water
•    Non stick spray


Directions:


•    Align all ingredients on the kitchen table in bowls
•    Pull your flatbread out the freezer 2 hours before your ready to use them
•    Place a flat griddle pan on the stove top on medium heat
•    Lightly brush each flatbread with olive oil, spray pan and warm each side of flatbread
•    How to build your flatbread
•    Pick your spread (pesto or roasted garlic) lightly spread on the flatbread using a pastry brush
•    Add parmesan cheese
•    Pick your toppings (there’s no rules have fun with it whatever you desire)maximum 5 toppings
•    Top with more parmesan and mozzarella
•    Lower the heat on the stove and place your finished flatbread on the pan cover with aluminum pan and squirt a tab of water under pan to help the melting process
•    This should take 3-4 minutes, remove flatbread and cut into fours
•    Served with a nice Caesar salad or tossed salad
•    Quick, easy, yummy, and low calories!!
